Discovery of portrait and die variants of the 30 Sols Louis XVI

This article is the continuation of my work on Louis XVI silver Sols. Read the full article on the 15 Sols, showing and explaining in detail each element common to what I am going to show here: https://www.all-your-coins.com/fr/blog/moderne/france-royales/decouverte-de-variantes-de-portrait-et-de-coins-des-15-sols-louis-xvi.

The type FRANÇAIS, seems not to see its legend vary. For the FRANÇOIS type, here are the legend and portrait variants:

Half-long reverse legend with small head: with the O and the I of FRANÇOIS in front of the ribbon. (1)

Short reverse legend: with the S of FRANÇOIS in front of the ribbon. (3)

We would think that rare coins use the same die... yet no. A glaring example with the Bayonne mint using the short legend and the semi-long legend (I only had two copies to analyze, a third legend may exist). Link to the short legend: https://www.cgb.fr/louis-xvi-monarque-constitutionnel-30-sols-dit-au-genie-type-francois-1792-bayonne-tb,v28_1241,a.html, link to the half long: https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=3495305. All mints, use various dies. As for 15 Sols, there are other dies with legends between half-long and long, short and half-long etc. No die is, at this time, likely to raise the quotation of a coin because none is more rare than another, except the one with the little head which is less common.
